ARLA

We are a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA). In order to gain ARLA membership we have been assessed as technically competent and financially sound. We are subjected to a twice yearly audit of our client accounting procedures. Professional Landlords and investors increasingly understand the importance of using ARLA members.

Property Ombudsman

For your absolute reassurance we are voluntary members of the Property Ombudsman scheme. We hope that you will never need to complain about our service, in fact we are pretty confident that you will not, however should you feel the need do so, write to Phil Jones our Managing Director who is based at our office in Hull, at 61 Market Place, HU1 1RQ. NAEA

We are also members of the National Association of Estate Agents. Which means that we have staff who are qualified to value residential property and who are qualified as professional Estate Agents. We can value your rental property for you at any time and provide valuations for banks and building societies in most cases. So why don't we sell houses and flats? Because we stick to what we know and love.. “we love letting houses”.

DPS

We register all deposits with the Deposit Protection Service. In line with current legislation we have opted to use the Government custodial scheme for tenant deposit money. We always take a deposit and we sometimes require a deed of guarantee as well. Thereby ensuring the safety of the tenancy as far as possible for the Landlord. The DPS offers a mediation service where a dispute arises between tenant and Landlord. At Link Agency we are pleased to say that we have a less than 1% referral rate when releasing deposit money - if there's a dispute we resolve it in house! It saves time for everyone, again it proves that we are doing our job well.
